1 L2E Case Manager

2 Truck Driver Instructor

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the instruction of participants and competency compliance in the Truck Driving field. Instructs and trains students for positions in the trucking transportation industry. The instructor will be responsible for developing student skills, knowledge, and attitudes commensurate to the goals of the program and effectively using materials and equipment to meet goals.
3 DLW Case Manager/Job Developer

SALARY: $45K to 51K/YR DOE, Full Time, Benefits & 401K

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for client recruitment, testing, assessment, orientation and on-going evaluation. Coordinates instruction, counseling, planning, evaluation, documentation, and goal setting with clients. Responsible for developing unsubsidized jobs and On-The-Job-Training (OJT) in the private sector for program participants. Responsible for meeting monthly enrollment & placement quotas.
4 GED Program Instructor
LOCATION: Modesto
SALARY: $46 - $52K YR, Full Time, Benefits & 401(k)

POSITION SUMMARY: Teaching students in five high school subjects; thus, the GED program Instructor must have a wide-ranging knowledge of these areas (math, science, reading, writing, and social studies). In addition, the incumbent must have experience working with non-traditional and at-risk students. The instructor must be able to teach classes for Adult Basic Education (ABE) students not yet ready to participate in High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation classes. Particularly important to this position is experience with math, reading instruction and disability diagnosis. In addition, the GED Instructor must have sensitivity to the needs of limited academic performing adults. In order for the students to learn effectively, they must trust the Instructor. In order for trust to build, the Instructor must understand the problems which the students face. Furthermore, the GED Instructor must be flexible and versatile in order to teach students with a diverse array of learning impediments.
